Battery Powered Amp
No wall outlets are needed for the Blackstar Fly 3, so you can quite literally play through it anywhere you wish. Instead of a standard power supply, this amp is powered by 6 AA sized batteries, making it ideal for busking, guitar lessons, or even spontaneous coffee-shop gigs.
It's also worth noting that whilst the amp can be battery powered, there's also a DC Adapter socket to the rear of it, meaning you can always preserve your battery power when playing at home by using a 9V Adapter (not supplied).
MP3/Line Input
Set the amp up as an MP3 speaker, or even a desktop speaker for your PC if you like, this socket will allow it. However, we all know that the best function for this is to allow you to jam along with your favourite tracks!
Speaker Emulated Output
If you dislike getting a great sound from an amp, only for that ambient character to be lost when recording, don't dispair.
The Speaker Emulated Output on the Fly 3 gives your line signal the kind of tonal characteristics usually gained from a mic'd up speaker cabinet, making recording, home practice, or running through a PA sound much more authentic.
ISF Control
Change the overall tonal characteristics of your amp from American to vintage British, or a hybrid of both, with ease. The ISF circuit works in conjunction with your Tone control, allowing you to dial in those sweet spots with ease.
