Twin AC15

Based on the classic AC15 that was there at the beginnings of British rock ‘n’ roll, the AC15C2 is part of the celebrated Vox Custom Series.

The custom series have traditional style and tone but feature updates for modern musicians such as dual channel sound, tremolo circuitry and footswitch capabilities.

Difference Between AC15C1 and AC15C2

The most obvious difference between the AC15C1 and AC15C2 is that the Vox AC15C2 features two speakers rather than just one.

Another significant difference is the reverb. With the AC15C2 Twin, you get a larger spring reverb tank.

This is the same tank found in the AC30C2, giving you beautifully atmospheric reverb.

This effectively makes the AC15C2 a 15-watt AC30, ideal if you want to push into overdrive at a lower volume.

The AC15C2 is also a great choice if you love the AC30 sound but find it too loud for your needs!

Versatile Tones

The VOX AC15C2S Custom Series combo amp has two separate channels on offer; Normal and Boost.

Both channels are equipped with dedicated volume controls while the Top Boost Channel also boasts Treble and Bass tone controls.

Because of this channel pairing and set of controls you can quickly dial in classic tones or craft our own signature sound.

Classic Effects

Allowing you to add an extra dimension to your sound, the Vox AC15C2 is equipped with a Classic Tremolo effect.

You can adjust both the speed and depth of the Tremolo to get exactly the sound you’re looking for.

The Vox AC15C2 also boasts a real Spring Reverb allowing you to add beautifully warm spaciousness to your sound.

Fitted with the larger spring reverb tank found in the AC30C2, this amp can add incredible atmosphere and depth to your sound.

Furthermore, because of the AC15C2’s footswitch connectivity you can turn the effects on and off as you play using a separately available footswitch.

Pure Valve Power

Giving the Vox AC15C2 its fantastic valve tone is a set of three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84 tubes in the power stage.

These valves drive 15 watts of power through two 12” Celestion G12M Greenback speakers that delivers all that fantastic tone to your ears.

If you’d like to go beyond the internal speakers of the AC15C2, you have two further options.

The AC15C2 also features a switchable 8/16 ohm jack that allows you to power an external speaker cabinet, switching off the internal speakers.

Furthermore, you’ll also find there’s another output jack, allowing to you run an extra 16 ohm cabinet in addition to the AC15C2’s internal speakers, giving you enormous sound.
