The Shure PGA98 is an affordable microphone that's based on the Beta 98 percussion mic and delivers that clear Shure drum sound that's dynamic, without capturing any spillage from your other drums and cymbals.
The PGA98 In Use
Engineered to clearly capture a full range of frequencies at a high sound pressure level, the PGA98 is ideal for capturing tom-toms and other percussion instruments. Its cardioid polar pattern means that it's directional, clearly capturing what you point it at with no interference from other instruments or risk of feedback.
Engineered for Stability
The mic can be mounted directly on the rim of your drum ensuring secure positioning without the need for messy mic stands. Plus, with the capsule being at the end of a gooseneck, you can easily position the mic to capture your drum's sweet spot.
