Solid Wood Construction
As many acoustic afficionados will tell you: there's nothing that beats the tone of an all-solid wood acoustic guitar. Solid wood (as opposed to layered or laminated) offers superior note deflection, an optimal response, and a sound that improves with age.
In this case we have a guitar constructed from solid Mahogany for the Top, Back, and Sides. These woods have been specially chosen and treated to ensure the very highest quality of sound, with the top and back being accurately radiused to help increase projection.
Incredible Tone
Favoured by traditional American Blues and Folk players throughout the 20th Century, all-Mahogany guitars are renowned for their punchy, balanced tone and rich midrange.
In addition to this, as the wood matures, its focused fundamental tone makes room for more prominent overtones. In other words: the longer you own and the more you play an all-Mahogany guitar, the more the guitar will develop a character of its own.
12th-Fret Construction
As you'll notice from the above image, this guitar's neck joins the body at the 12th fret, as opposed to the more prominent 14th.
This results in a much warmer overall tone than you'd expect, and gives you a guitar that's ideal for fingerstyle players.
