As stated above, the Alvarez MDA66CESHB is crafted from all-solid tonewoods - in this case African Mahogany.
In addition to this, the high quality of the woods used have been specially picked and treated to ensure the very best in sound quality, and the forward shifted X-bracing results in superior levels of projection.

When you combine a solid Mahogany top piece, with solid Mahogany back and sides, the end result is a guitar with a naturally warm, rich tone, and plenty of punch.
Due to the nature of solid Mahogany, these woods will continue to mature as it ages, adding more prominent overtones to its voice.
