With the Alvarez CC7 you get a Cadiz series Concert Classical guitar, made with a Solid A+ Sitka Spruce and Walnut tonewood combination, a Spanish heel neck joint, and a slightly longer scale length than usual, which has been lovingly crafted in Andalusia: birthplace of the modern Classical guitar (originally designed in the 19th Century by Antonio de Torres Jurado).
Modern Construction Techniques
Featuring a more lightly-built soundbox, and a topwood, fitted with an astmmetric fan bracing system and treble bar, this guitar produces a beautiful voice with bell-like trebles and a very open, clear and strong bass response.
Fan bracing systems are favoured by classical guitar makers the world over, as they allow the guitar's top wood to resonate much more freely than other bracings. This results in a highly responsive instrument that is perfect for traditional fingerstyle players.
