Originally popular during the early part of the 20th Century, Parlor guitars have seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years thanks to their compact size and big, articulate voices. Perfect for busking, studio work, and live performance, the Alvarez APA1965 is the ideal guitar for the modern wandering troubadour.
Exquisite Tonewoods
Combining a Solid Sitka Spruce top with an exotic Acacia back and sides, sees this guitar producing a powerful, yet bright, round and familiar-sounding voice. This is further helped by the FST2 forward shifted X-brace system, which allows the sound board to vibrate more freely leading to a nicely balanced sound that's both open and powerful.
High-Grade Construction
Each and every component of this guitar has been designed to bring out the instruments best qualities, both in terms of tone and playability. These components include the afore-mentioned FTS2 forward shifted X-brace, in addition to the neck's dovetail joint, bi-level bridge, and even a genuine bone nut and saddle.
