For the top, solid AA Western Red Cedar has been used, giving you a broad range of tones to perform with.

For the back and sides, the Alvarez AGE95CESHB boasts Macassar Ebony with its unique grain adding fantastic aesthetics while its tonal character enriches your performance.
Within the body of the Alvarez AGE95CESHB is Alvarez's MST1 bracing system.
The product of intensive research and development, this bracing system features middle shifted, tapered X bracing with asymmetric tone bars. As a result, you get beautifully resonant tone with great response and greater low end.
Attached to the body is a Mahogany neck with a Pau Ferro fretboard. The neck features a 50/50 semi-gloss finish for smooth and comfortable playability.
A cutaway to the body provides easy access to the upper frets, for modern playability.

Fitted to the body of the Alvarez AGE95CESHB is a bi-level Pau Ferro fretboard for efficient transfer of string energy to the resonating solid AA Western Red Cedar top.
What's more, with its bi-level design it provides improved string break angle over the saddle for enhanced tone and volume.
The nut and saddle are both made from real bone for increased sustain and more natural tone.
Up on the headstock, you'll find premium die cast tuning machines providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
