Because of the size and shape of dreadnought guitars, they are able to produce a broad range of tones giving you strong low end, articulate high end and a punchy mid-range.
Adding modern playability to a classic design, the Alvarez AD60CE features a cutaway granting easy access to the upper frets.

The neck holds a Pau Ferro fretboard which is ordained with eye-catching Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlays.
FST2 style bracing ensures sturdy construction while allowing the soundboard to move more freely, giving you increased volume and dynamic response.
This bracing system also features scalloped braces and asymmetric tone bars, increasing the movement area of the solid Sitka Spruce top for enhanced resonance and tone.
The Pau Ferro bridge has a bi-level design which improves the string break angle over the saddle for increased output and better performance.
Genuine bone has been used for both the nut and saddle, increasing sustain while adding a natural character to your tone.
