Lightweight, Responsive and Comfortable to Play
With the Alvarez AC65 you get am Artist Series Nylon-stringed Classical acoustic guitar, with a Solid Western Red Cedar top, Mahogany back and sides, and a Natural Gloss finish. This guitar is incredibly responsive, and produces a warm and open voice, perfect for fingerstyle Classical or Flamenco players.
Cedar and Mahogany
The rich mid-range harmonics from the Mahogany are perfectly offset by the light, responsive clarity provided by the Solid A+ Cedar top resulting in a superbly warm, open tone. This guitar is ideally suited to fingerstyle Classical / Flamenco guitar players, and sounds incredible when played.
Traditional Fan Bracing
Bracing Systems can have as much of an impact on your guitars sound as anything else thats gone into its construction. With this classical guitar we have a traditional Spanish Fan Bracing system, as favoured by Spanish Classical and Flamenco guitar makes for more than a century and a half!
Favouring the thinner soundboards that you'd normally find on a classical guitar, the Fan Bracing works perfectly with the body shape to produce a warm, earthy-sound, with an articulate bass response, making it ideal for fingerstyle players and flatpickers.
