On-Board Effects
If effects are your thing, but your budget doesn't quite stretch to building up a pedal collection just yet, don't worry: this amp comes with 16 built-in effects presets for you to experiment with! Featuring such delay effects as Slap, Digital Delay, Ambience, Early Reflect, and Echo, alongside eight types of Reverb, Chorus, Flange and Phaser, you'll never run out of options when looking for your ideal sound!
Hybrid Circuitry
Featuring a unique high-voltage FET and Valve preamp design, with a valve-type response solid-state power amp, the Albion AG40DFX produces a powerful and diverse range of sounds.
Shape your tone further with the 3-band on-board EQ, and you'll get to hear just what the amp is capable of. You'll get to hear all of their superb warmth, clarity, punch, attack, and let's not forget that knee-wobbling overdrive - in fact you'll be pushed to find a better tonal quality in any other amp of this class.
An Amp That's Perfect for Home Practice
Despite being usable in a small to medium sized venue, the Albion AG40DFX makes the ultimate home-practice amp. Thanks to the on-board Headphone socket, quiet-practice time couldn't be easier, and the inclusion of an AUX IN socket allows you to connect an MP3/CD player too, so you can jam along with your favourite tracks!
Despite this though, the relatively low weight and small stage footprint of the Albion AG40DFX, also makes it ideal for life on the road.
Got the exact tone you want from the amp, but feel it may be too quite for a larger venue? Worry not, as there's a Speaker Out socket on the back, giving you the option to plug into a speaker extension cabinet (8-16 Ohm)!
