With the Albion ABH120C you get a powerful example of British amplification heritage put to good use. This Solid State/Valve hybrid amp provides you with a reliable and consistent 120 Watts RMS through the onboard 12" driver.
Hybrid Electronics
Featuring a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp, feeding into an over-engineered solid-state power amp, the Albion ABH120C brings you the best of both amplification worlds but without the downsides.
Professional-Grade Tone Shaping
With its specially designed 3-band EQ section, dialing in those perfect tones is a relatively straight-forward affair. In addition to the traditional Bass, Middle and Treble controls, there are switches for Low and High boosts, and even a Mid Range control, allowing you to set which mid-frequency range is being produced
Whatever your playstyle or tonal requirements, the Albion ABH120C, with its EQ and usable Gain options, provides you with everything you need, in any situation.
Custom Built Speaker
Designed in close collaboration between both Albion and a world-leading specialist power speaker designer, the 12" driver housed in the Albion ABH120C posesses superior clarity and power over other speakers in its class.
In addition to this, each speaker within the Albion ABH range has been fine-tuned to work with its respective cabinet, making it the very best for the job at hand.
Rock Solid Construction
Constructed with a Birch Ply cabinet, and featuring many strategically placed interior braces to maximise tight, vibration free performance, the Albion ABH120C makes the ultimate gigging companion for low-end lovers.
In addition to this, the cabinet is fronted with a metal grille, specially designed to minimise rattle and vibration. On top of that, the amplifier is fitted with a large heat-sink with fan cooling, ensuring that a low temperature is maintained under all operating conditions.
Steeped in Tradition
Amp designer Steve Grindrod is one of the biggest names in amplification design over the past 40 years. Having been chief designer at both Marshall and VOX, Steve decided to turn his hand into marketing his own amplifier brand, and thus Albion was born.
