To deliver the kind of tone-shaping capabilities that can make a grown bassist weep, the Tone Hammer features AGS (Adaptive Gain Shaping) circuitry - which has a separate footswitch for you to engage - allows you to kick in additional gain structure and EQ options with ease.
First of all, the 3-band EQ section (Treble, Middle, and Bass) along with a Mid Frequency switch to choose just which mid band you're boosting or cutting, lets you set the base sound for your instrument.
In addition to this, the independent Gain and master controls let you dial in the perfect gain structure, whilst the 18v of power required to run it delivers plenty more headroom, allowing for some seriously dynamic playstyles.
Essentially, this pedal can take you from modern slap sounds to overdriven, to vintage bass tones with ease, and even doubles up as a D.I. box, making it perfect for studio work.
