The Zoom G3n represents a new meaning to the word 'bang for your buck'! With over 68 on-board digital effects, 5 amp emulations and 5 cabinet emulators, the G3N offers everything a guitarist needs in one compact and travel-friendly pedal.
Accurate, Realistic Amp and Cabinet Emulation
Choose from five classic amp models and adjust the sound exactly as you would with the knobs and switches of the real thing—and then pair your amp with one of the five new cabinet emulators to complete the sound. Naturally, this offers an array of experimental and custom pairings to create your own signature sound easily.
A user-friendly, intuitive interface is powered by 3 independent editing displays, 3 rugged stomp box switches and rotary dials for in-depth patch editing. When you're done, you can store them in the on-board memory or use the Auto Save functionality to keep your settings secure.
The Zoom G3N is one of the most affordable, fully-featured Multi-FX pedals we've seen in a long time. A must-have for anyone just starting the build their pedalboard setup or for seasoned players that need convenience on tour.
July 2017 Software Update
As of July 2017 Zoom have released a patch featuring four new stompboxes and four new preset patches, available for download via the Guitar Lab software app.
The new stompboxes available are as follows:
- Dist 1 - modelled around the famous DS-1 distortion pedal
- Squeak - an emulation of the classic RAT distortion
- LoopRoll - allows you to use the footswitch to sample and hold what you play
- PDL RESO - a wah pedal with plenty of character
The patches are:
- JB Block - makes use of the Squeak pedal to help re-create Jeff Beck's "Big Block" sound
- JS Boogie - uses the DIST 1 pedal to create a lead sound inspired heavily by Joe Satriani
- PDL RESO - as well as a new pedal, there's also a wah patch using this pedal, with an extreme resonance filter that can't be achieved with an ordinary wah pedal
- Stomp Roll - generates a rolling sound that edits the wave form in real time, this can be synced with your song's BPM via tap tempo
