Enhanced Tonality
To make sure you're getting the ultimate playing experience, Yamaha's experts handpicked the tonewoods for the acoustic's body to create an enhanced tonality.
The premium Solid Engelmann Spruce top brings a mellow warmth to acoustic's character, adding an extra spark to its vast dynamic frequency without losing any of your attributes. Combined with a Rosewood back and sides, capture deep lows, crystal clear mids and soaring highs with the body's fiery projection. Sonically Modified Tonewood
To get the most out of the acoustic's Spruce top, the tonewood undergoes a treatment called Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E. for short). Tweaking and controlling the wood's molecules until it's at its most responsive state.
