The entry level FG is now available with pick ups. Featuring the same scalloped bracing to provide better tone and playability the new FG800C in Black is fitted with an SRT Piezo pick up and System 66 preamp to take the Yamaha tone onto the stage.
The Yamaha FGX800C is the new affordable entry level electro acoustic guitar.
Yamaha created the now legendary FG Series of acoustic guitars in 1966 with the goal to offer great quality instruments at prices regular people could afford. Since then, the FG acoustic has become the world’s best selling acoustic guitar. Of course, things have changed during this time – from music tastes to playing styles. The FG Series always kept up while staying true to its nature.
A solid top board, a 0.25mm thin finish for great tone and superior wood protection, a super-comfortable thin neck profile and a thin back and sides construction ensure maximum volume and resonance with long-term stability.
