Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

The HD10SCE, part of the Heritage Series from Washburn is an incredible electro-acoustic guitar at a great price. A great quality dreadnought guitar with a cutaway design, the Washburn HD10SCE is one to own.

Washburn Craftsmanship

The Washburn HD10SCE from the Heritage 10 series has a solid sitka spruce top for great tone and projection.

Cathedral peaked advanced scalloped X Bracing has been used for added stability and a balanced, rich tone.

Mahogany has been used for the back and sides while the neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge offering enhanced transfer from the strings to the soundboard of the HD10SCE.

The HD10 is a dreadnought size guitar so you get a deep, powerful sound from this instrument and a cutaway design improves the playability of the higher frets; excellent for soloing and other adventurous playstyles.

Hardware and Electronics

Fitted with a Fishman 301T Isys+ Pickup system, the HD10SCE electro-acoustic guitar allows you to play connected to an amp and a number of useful features improve your sound.

The Fishman 301T preamp system features a volume control and EQ settings that allow you to adjust the bass and treble of your sound so you can perfectly tailor your tone to your liking.

A phase switch allows you to reverse the phase so that you can eliminate feedback when performing live and a low-battery indicator light gives you the confidence you need to perform.

There is also an integrated tuner so you don’t have to carry around an external tuner with you, struggling to carefully balance it while you tune up. This is perfect for re-tuning while on stage and during live performances.

Chrome diecast tuners offer quick, easy and precise tuning and look great on the HD10SCE guitar as does the Washburn tortoise pickguard and custom rosette adding extra visual flair.
