EXCELLENT
I was recommended PMT by my guitar instructor and was and dealt with mike who was the manager ,it was my first guitar I have ever bought and was blown away by the ships set up , very friendly and very relaxed atmosphere , I did explain my budget at the start but was I shown guitars that were close and way below my budget so I never felt that it was about a sale....just finding me the correct guitar, I was left alone to decide and with a bit of much needed guidance I've found my perfect first guitar and would highly recommended PMT and mike in particular Thanks for great experience Gary Douglas

Overview

The WD7SCE is an excellent electro-acoustic guitar from the Harvest Series from Washburn. Featuring a cutaway design with solid spruce top, the WD7SCE delivers beautiful tone at a great price.

Washburn Harvest Guitar

Great Craftsmanship

As part of the Harvest Series, the Washburn WD7SCE, seen here in Antique Tobacco Burst colouring, features a solid spruce top. Spruce wood has been chosen for the way its tonal quality improves with age.

The WD7SCE also features mahogany back and sides and a rosewood bridge which gives improved tone transfer. Chrome die cast tuners have been used to provide excellent tuning accuracy and stability.

Washburn Electronics

A great feature of the WD7SCE is the integrated Washburn EQ4 preamp which allows you to plug your guitar into an amp; perfect for live performance.

The preamp has a built in digital tuner and a bright, easy to read LED screen which is extremely useful when you’re on a dimly lit stage environment.

An integrated 4-band EQ allows you to separately adjust the Bass, Mid, Treble and Presence of your tone while a notch filter allows you to eliminate feedback by simply turning the dial to find the unwanted frequency and cutting it.

There is also a volume control to allow easy adjustment while performing and a low battery indicator so you’re never caught unawares when the battery begins to run out.

Great Sound and Playability

The Washburn WD7SCEATB has a dreadnaught body shape so it can produce some big sounds and is perfect for performing in public areas when you need to be heard above the din.

This model also features a cutaway design allowing easy reach of the higher frets so it is perfect if you’re playing lead, need to perform solos and adventurous guitar playing.

The satin finished mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard makes playing the WD7SCE both fun and easy. The neck has a 25.5” scale, features a two-way trussrod, and fretboard has 20 frets.

With a custom wood inlay rosette and the lovely antique tobacco burst, the WD7SCE looks about as good as is it sounds and is sure to impress when playing live.
