Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

The Limited-run First Edition Taylor 610E employs subtle touches and sophisticated appointments to make this a unique, special instrument available for a limited time only!

Renowned for its vintage voice, the 610E Dreadnought body delivers a trademark 'vintage' voice, with plenty of low end projection and overall volume. The resulting natural tone is amazing by itself, but when combined with Taylor's new ES2 Electronic Pickup system, the 610e First Edition becomes an incredible live performance asset that not only looks the part, but sounds amazing too. The non-cutaway body style is custom-voiced for power and clarity with an ultra-fast response for robust picking and strumming.

Maple back and sides deliver excellent punch and tone while the torrified Sitka spruce top provides a light and expressive sound, a classic tonewood combination known for its balance and complementary tonal properties. The naturally deep lows, crisp highs, and open, airy midrange of Taylor's dreadnought body help to balance this 610e's tone across the full sonic spectrum, giving you a sound that lends itself equally well to traditional bluegrass and folk as it does to modern acoustic rock.

Taylor's improved Advanced Performance Bracing adds rigidity to the sides and enhances top and back movement. In the words of luthier Andy Powers, the Advanced Performance bracing pattern gives the updated 610e First Edition a "nice, cushy swell and long sustain, even with a delicate touch."

The First Edition model to commemorate the launch of the new 600 series includes Ivoroid Wings and Rosette bindings, Adirondack spruce bracing, alongside a deluxe First Edition case and a custom brown finish on the back and sides which gives this a really unique feel and is a great chance to get your hands on a limited production model straight from Taylor's master craftsmen!

When you buy your Taylor acoustic from PMT, not only do you get our second-to-none in-store and online service, but registering your instrument opens up a 10-year manufacturers warranty, and allows you access to a vast array of resources and how-to guides to ensure you get the most out of your instrument. Also, Taylor's dedication to environmentally-sourced tone woods ensures that their craft of building impeccable acoustic guitars will continue for years to come with no long lasting negative effects on the environment.
