Quality Build

The M20 bluegrass mandolin follows Stagg’s tradition of crafting solid, great quality instruments at a price point that is great for people who are new to playing.

The M20 has a basswood top, back and sides with a nato neck and rosewood fingerboard – wood that is traditionally found in bluegrass mandolins.

The headstock features open geared nickel machine heads that offer precise and stable tuning while the body holds an adjustable maple bridge with small screws so you can easily adjust the height of the action.

Traditional Looks

The top of the M20 mandolin has a beautiful “violinburst” finish to give it a classic, vintage look. There’s also a beautifully engraved, traditional nickel tailpiece that just looks great.

Twin f-shaped sound holes complete the traditional-look while also offering great sound projection.
