When a 6 string guitar isn’t enough you might try a 7 string guitar, but when that just doesn’t get deep and dark enough, where do you go? Enter the Schecter Omen-8, a powerful 8 string guitar featuring awesome construction, playability and sound while coming to you at a great price.
Carbon fibre reinforcement rods running through the Maple neck, coupled with the strong bolt-on construction makes for an incredibly stable and secure build.
A classic Rosewood fretboard features 24 X-jumbo frets, and at the top you will find a GraphTech XL Black TUSQ nut.
TUSQ is an incredible material that is precision engineered under high heat and pressure to enhance the frequencies that remain in the guitar strings, resulting in fantastic sustain. It is also permanently lubricated so you don’t have to worry about rattle or future touch-ups.
The body is crafted from Basswood and features a beautiful arched top contour while pearloid semi-goth inlays on the fretboard complete the dark, heavy metal aesthetic.
Awesome Electronics
To give this OMEN-8 it’s dark and heavy roar, Schecter have installed their very own Schecter Diamond Plus pickups.
At both the neck and bridge pickup positions, the Schecter Diamond Plus pickups are high quality humbucker style pickups which accurately reproduce your playing style and the tone of your strings while eliminating hum and interference so you get a pure tone.
A three-way pickup selector switch allows you to toggle between the pickups or utilise a combination of both while two metal knurled knobs allow you to control the overall volume and tone of the Schecter OMEN-8.
A Schecter custom hardtail bridge with string through body design keeps your strings perfectly aligned.
