EXCELLENT
I was recommended PMT by my guitar instructor and was and dealt with mike who was the manager ,it was my first guitar I have ever bought and was blown away by the ships set up , very friendly and very relaxed atmosphere , I did explain my budget at the start but was I shown guitars that were close and way below my budget so I never felt that it was about a sale....just finding me the correct guitar, I was left alone to decide and with a bit of much needed guidance I've found my perfect first guitar and would highly recommended PMT and mike in particular Thanks for great experience Gary Douglas

Overview

The Sandberg Umbo provides J-bass heaven plus a quirky mid vibe for those endlessly seeking the Holy Pastorius Grail. Named after Austrian session bassist Hans Umschaden, the California Umbo is effectively an alder-bodied Jazz Bass, with a deeper lower cutaway. Sandberg's second-to-none craftsmanship shine through once again, with a maple/rosewood neck offering a slim and fast playing action and 22 fret, 34" scale length. The Umbo's Passive bass pickups come courtesy of the Haussel J-style single coils and Alnico II magnets.
