Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

Ideal for numerous recording applications, including vocals, close miking instruments or use as a room microphone, the MTR101 is a large, 1-inch diaphragm studio condenser microphone. It features a cardioid pickup pattern that provides increased isolation of a sound source and is designed to handle high SPLs of up to 137dB. The MTR101 produces a smooth, extended frequency response, as well as low self-noise and a wide dynamic range perfect for modern digital recording. Its internally shock-mounted capsule also minimizes touch noise. This rugged die cast mic is available with or without a pop filter and shockmount.
