Rickenbacker bass guitars have a rich and varied history in the world of contemporary music, being the personal favourites to many of the worlds most prominent rock and roll low-end purveyors. Whilst the 4003 is arguably the most recognisable and widely used, in recent years the more-comfortable-to-play 4004 series has been coming into their own, especially the 4004 Laredo, with it's newly designed Humbuckers and 'low loss' circuit technology.

Built to Rickenbacker's high specifications in the USA, the 4004 Laredo features a solid Hardrock Maple and Walnut body, Maple Neck and Bubinga Fretboard. The iconic body shape features cutaways and grooves in all the right places, just how a Rickenbacker should be. Easily their most comfortable bass to date!
Exquisite Electronics
The incredible, newly designed RIC Humbuckers pack more of a punch than their High-Output single coil counterparts (such as those on the 4003 bass guitars), and produce that characteristic humbucker grit whilst retaining an incredibly amount of clarity, thanks partially to the new 'low loss' circuit technology. Rickenbacker's latest 'low loss' circuit technology ensures the 4004L 'Laredo' Bass is easily one of their cleanest, pristine bass sounds to date.
