The best in the west!
PMT has always been my first stop for all things musical! The service is excellent from a crew who between them know pretty much everything about everything. They have always given me great advice and are willing to spend plenty of time to make sure I get the right piece of kit for my needs, and they will be happy to show me how to get the most out of it. They usually match any deal available and it's so nice to buy from real people instead of a website. The in house engineer, Steve can makes the best cables you could dream of and can repair almost anything! .thank you Bristol PMT

Overview

Versatility Reinvented

The PRS S2 is back and better then ever with it's coil-tapped pickups, a beautiful mahogany set neck and 3-way blade selector. In terms of playability, PRS have chosen a 25" scale length which is a bang-on, in the middle compromise between typical set neck and bolt-on models. This thing feels excellent to play and easilly captures any sound you have in you're head. Get that sparkling single coil rhythm tone with just the pull of a knob, then throw it back to humbucker configuration for screaming solos. The only thing out of place for this PRS is it's price tag. There truly has never has been a better time to own a USA made, Paul Reed Smith Guitar. Doesn't that sound great.

Literally everything the working musician needs in a work-horse guitar. We are happy to bring you the amazing S2 from PRS.

True Versatility Made Affordable

When it comes to tone, build and electrical layout, the S2 also shines by offering the best of both worlds. Again no compromises here! This guitars DNA is made up of the best features of some of the most popular existing single coil and humbucking guitars in the world. The scale length is 25" putting it slap bang in the middle of LP and Strat-style guitars. The inclusion of push-pull coil tapping knobs allows for a host of single coil and humbucking sounds. Unlike the PRS SE models, all of the S2's are fully American built.

In terms of design, the PRS S2's shape is based upon the flagship 'Custom 24' models. It features a double cutaway design making upper fret access a breeze and a slightly larger single-ply pickguard to the one found on a PRS Mira. We have a tremolo bridge present here too, with PRS's own saddle design to ensure intonation and set-up is as easy as can be. To top off this stunning retro-styled guitar is a beautiful, vintage mahogany satin finish. Be sure to also check out the PRS S2 Starla and PRS S2 Vela guitars also currently available in the range.
