The Meinl Johnny Rabb Safari 16" Crash is a stacked crash that features a 16" bottom crash cymbal with a smaller brass cymbal stacked on top. This results in a short, trashy, white noise style sound.

Designed to meet the specifications of well-respected drum educator Johnny Rabb this Safari crash offers a short, stacked sound perfect for accents. It features a smaller brass cymbal stacked on top of the 16" crash. The result of the combined cymbals is a quick attack with a short, white noise style effect that would be ideal for electronic music, but wouldn't be out of place in rock, pop and fusion.
If want to add some flare and variety to your set up, the Johnny Rabb Safari is an ideal choice. It works well for both accenting and riding as it's medium to low volume allows you to really lay into it without it becoming overpowering.
