Back in 2010, Mapex redesigned the 'Black Panther' snare drum range with 14 unique models. The Black Widow model is a maple shell snare which produces a dry, mellow tone. These shells are hand finished and are further complemented by completely redesigned hardware which ranges from a new badge, to compeltely re-sculpted lugs.
A full-bodied snare drum, deadly with its dark and focused tone is ideal for an all-around main snare.
