Asher Dowson

Store Manager

I'm Asher, Store Manager, Acoustic Guitar and Education specialist here at PMT Leeds. Having played guitar for 15 years I've made the perilous journey of tonal discovery from Yamaha to Taylor and have finally landed in the glorious world of Gibson as the proud owner of a J200 Standard and I also dabble on electric with an American Standard Fender Telecaster in Natural with a lovely maple neck. When I'm not running our magnificent emporium of goodies I am most likely immersed in the Christian Music scene as a signed Singer/Songwriter. I also help out in sales across the store including P.A, Piano's, Guitars, Drums and Pro Audio - I'm always happy to help.

Curtis Lawrence

Assistant Manager

Hi there, I'm Curtis. I am the Pro Audio, Keyboard and DJ specialist here at PMT Leeds, as well as the store's assistant manager. If you like to talk about synthesizers and live performance keyboards or you are interested in recording equipment and electronic production then I am the person for you. Graduating from a Commercial Music Production degree in 2011, whilst working as a DJ and recording engineer, my knowledge of equipment is vast and there is not much I haven't had experience within the industry. I love playing instruments in my spare time but my top two would have to be Keys and drums amongst all other digital forms of them.
Joey Frost

Hi I'm Joey and my areas of expertise and passion are in PA and the guitar department. I aim to give honest professional advice to all customers with my knowledge, experience and university degree in live sound. The other side which i contribute to the Leeds team consists of being an Ibanez and Gibson specialist, this is what I play and I am very familiar with these brands. Finally I am a bit of a pedal geek and have a wide range and understanding of guitar pedals from brands such as Electro harmonix, MXR, T.C. Electronics and Boss. Also check out my Southern and Country Rock band, Red Dog, hailing from Wakefield, West Yorkshire!
