Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

The new Jackson X series guitars are dripping with the Jackson DNA guitarists have come to know and love. This shred machine comes at an affordable cost and will certainly take you from practicing, to your first ever gig.

An astonishing shred machine at an affordable price point for those about to rock!

New Jackson X Series guitars are loaded with purebred Jackson DNA-neck-through-body construction, hot humbucking pickups, bound compound-radius fingerboards with our distinctive shark-fin inlays, and stunning finishes. Classic Jackson models imbued with the X factor, with fantastic tone, ultra-fast playability and unbelievable value for 21st century guitarists.

The Jackson Soloist SLX has a basswood body, through-body maple neck and Duncan Designed alnico HB102N (neck) and high-output ceramic HB102B (bridge) humbucking pickups. Its bound compound-radius rosewood fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. Other features include a Floyd Rose Special double-locking two-point tremolo, 24 jumbo frets and three-way pickup switching. Available in several distinct finishes.
