Taking the famous Ibanez RGD body shape and re-working it from the chassis up, the RGDIX6MPB is a stunningly unique and beautiful guitar bringing a new dimension to the “made-for-metal” Iron Label lineup.
Quality Craftsmanship
An exotic Poplar Burl top sits above a layered ash body and captures the highly-coveted look that is extremely popular with modern boutique guitar enthusiasts.
The Ash wood offers great sustain while looking and feeling great to hold and play.
The RGDIX6MPB-SBB has a Nitro Wizard 3-piece maple and bubinga neck featuring a beautiful birdseye maple fretboard and jumbo frets for enhanced playability.
Extra-deep cutaways have been incorporated to allow easy and comfortable access to the neck’s higher frets – perfect for face melting solos and adventurous lead guitar playing.
The 26.5” scale length of the Ibanez RGD allows for deep, rich and thick tones when down-tuning while still remaining extremely playable; an absolutely requirement for technical riffs, runs and solos.
First-Class Hardware and Electronics
A direct collaboration between DiMarzio and Ibanez has resulted in the RGDIX6MPB guitar mounting DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups.
Providing great clarity and extremely smooth response, the DiMarzio Fuson Edge humbucker pickups satisfy the high demands of today’s guitarists in the progressive metal scene.
A heavy-duty combination of a Gibraltar Standard II bridge and Gotoh MG-T locking machineheads means that your strings can be tuned quickly, easily and with extreme precision then once they’re in tune - they stay securely in tune.
