I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Modeled closely on its late-’50s ancestor, today’s Duo Jet features dual High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups, “tone switch” circuitry, ebony fingerboard with Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays, Space Control bridge, Gretsch by Bigsby B3C vibrato tailpiece and mahogany stain finish with jet black top.
