Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

The iconic Gibson Flying V is back for 2017, perfectly capturing the vintage vibe of the original that graced a stage with the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Albert King. A modern Flying V still delivers straight-up raw horsepower from a pair of Dirty Fingers humbuckers, backed by the sustain and tonal consistency of a solid mahogany body and neck. Heavy metal shredders and punk rockers will appreciate the savage tone of this Flying V, but is equally well suited to Jazz and Blues when you start dialling down to tone and volume controls.

Iconic Gibson body with roaring Dirty Fingers humbuckers.

Similarly to other guitars in the 2017 lineup, the Flying V T features 22 polished frets across a Mahogany neck. The Slim Taper neck is enhanced with a thick Granadillo fingerboard for superb comfort and playability.

The Flying V T 2017 comes equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge, and aluminium stop bar tailpiece with chrome Mini-Grover tuners. Also comes in a plush lined Hardshell case, premium leather strap, multi-tool and cloth.
