EXCELLENT
I was recommended PMT by my guitar instructor and was and dealt with mike who was the manager ,it was my first guitar I have ever bought and was blown away by the ships set up , very friendly and very relaxed atmosphere , I did explain my budget at the start but was I shown guitars that were close and way below my budget so I never felt that it was about a sale....just finding me the correct guitar, I was left alone to decide and with a bit of much needed guidance I've found my perfect first guitar and would highly recommended PMT and mike in particular Thanks for great experience Gary Douglas

Overview

There aren't many electric guitars today that can offer such a level of craftsmanship, aesthetic appeal and dynamic tone as the Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plustop Pro.

The stunning AAA Flamed maple top is matched by scorching vintage PAF tone from the Probucker pickups. An affordable LP for the everyday player.

The solid mahogany body is topped with a AAA flamed maple veneer top just like the original Gibson Custom Shop runs of the 50's and 60's. Aesthetics aside, tone is handled by a pair of Alnico-II Probucker pickups which deliver a delicate balance between a warm, rich low end and a sparkling top end detail. The versatility offered by the push/pull coil taps mean you can dive into a wide array of tones at the flick of a switch.

The mahogany neck has a 24.75” scale with a 12” radius and features a 1960s SlimTaper “D” profile with a glued-in neck joint for lifelong stability. The rosewood fingerboard comes with pearloid trapezoid inlays, 22 medium-jumbo frets, a 1.68” nut, and 1-ply cream binding for authentic vintage vibe.

Players like Joe Bonamassa, Slash, Ace Frehley, Zakk Wylde, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson and countless others get their signature sound from a “sunburst” Les Paul and now Epiphone gives you a chance to experience that one-of-a-kind tone at an affordable price with the Les Paul Standard Plustop PRO.
