The Les Paul express still roars with the same rockin' tone that has made the LP one of the most iconic electric guitars ever made. Now available in a short-scale, lightweight package, the Express is the perfect travelling instrument or for first time players that need that extra comfort and playability. The body is constructed with mahogany, like a full-sized Les Paul, but benefits from a hard maple neck to help improve tuning stability and string tension. The LP Express is great to learn on, but doesn't compromise on tonal performance!
The Les Paul Express captures the vibe of an original LP in a short-scale, travel-friendly package. The ultimate beginner's axe!
Additionally, the fully-adjustable Epiphone FB-601 "fixed" bridge makes string changes a breeze. Finally, the neck is bolted in place securely using four recessed bolts set into a tapered heel making upper fret access easy and comfortable.
The Les Paul Express features an Epiphone 650R humbucker in the neck position and an Epiphone 700T in the bridge position. Both pickups share the same qualities as Seth Lover's original PAF humbuckers of the late '50s and feature Alnico pickups that give you an infinite variety of tone colors and sounds.
