Excellent Birmingham store service - Dave A****
I was greeted by a chap called Dave and i explained i was interested in buying another guitar, a Fender Stratocaster to be precise. I explained i wanted to try a few options and in particular i was attracted to flashy looking guitars. I selected several to play and Dave took me to a practice room where i spent a couple of hours playing different guitars. His knowledge was excellent and he was very patient. Dave listened to what i wanted as a musician and provided the right equipment when i needed it followed by advice on the differences between each one. I settled on a very good guitar and a couple of pedals. If you are going to buy from PMT, GO TO THE BIRMINGHAM STORE.

Overview

Following the benchmark set by Gibson with the original 1967 SG, the Epiphone G400 puts the trademark style and tone into a more affordable package. The 'Worn' edition faithfully reproduces the faded neck and body finish for authentic vintage feel. Crafted with chrome hardware, a mahogany body and single-piece set neck with rosewood fretboard, tune-o-matic bridge, and armed with a pair of Alnico V pickups, this guitar is ready to rock right out of the box.

An affordable SG that doesn't compromise on vintage tone and an iconic Worn Cherry finish. A classic guitar for hard rock and punk players.

Later ‘60s models introduced the SG with humbucker pickups, and since then, the SG has become the go-to guitar for artists like The Who's Pete Townshend, Tony Iommi, Paul Weller, AC/DC's Angus Young, Eric Clapton and Derek Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band.

Hard rock, metal and scores of rockers embraced the original SG and made it a classic. Now, the Worn G-400 gives you the sound and look of a real worn-in SG without the vintage price tag.
