We were looking to purchase an electronic drum kit for our son. We visited PMT back in September to have a look at the range of items they had. While there an assistant came to offer help and advice on the different sets that were available. My son was also allowed to try them out too. After choosing one he liked we went away to research as it was intended for a Christmas present. On looking the item up it showed that for the same money you could get extra items. We then returned and asked if they would price match as we believe in trying to support the local business, but ultimately things do come down to price and value. To our delight they were happy to price match, and as a result we even upgraded. The service from viewing to purchasing was really good, as these musical instruments are not cheap and you need good honest advice when purchasing. Would totally recommend this company.

Overview

Epiphone's timeless Broadway guitar was one of those classics and inspired the dreams of many guitarists. Originally introduced in 1931, this beautiful instrument still sets the standard for jumbo jazz boxes and is also one of the largest, measuring 17" across the lower bout for unmatched full-range, big jazz tone.

The Broadway feels right at home under the bright lights of the big stage. An elegant semi-hollowbody with gorgeous headstock inlay.

The tonewoods, hardware and electronics are all designed to maximize performance whilst keeping weight and cost as low as possible. The Broadway is the perfect instrument for players that want that sophisticated stage look without breaking the bank. Adored with Gold hardware, Rosewood fretboard and Alnico Classic humbuckers, this is a true jazz box to behold.

Like its famous sister, the Epiphone Emperor Regent, this guitar is a direct descendant from Epiphone's early archtop days and the "war" between then-fierce-rival Gibson and the Stathopoulo brothers. Today, the Broadway remains the guitar of choice for many acclaimed jazz pros including the award-winning Nick Colionne.
