Meet Dynadio's newest series of Personal Reference Monitors. The LYD Range. Built to the highest standards of precision testing, the LYD-5 is a compact home studio monitor capable of extraordinary accuracy and sonic reproduction at lower volumes.
Low-volume precision for small room spaces
When mixing at lower volumes, it's important for your reference monitor to remain clear, balanced and retain a sense of space in your stereo image.
LYD uses lightweight aluminium wire and voice coils in its handmade drive units, along with a state-of-the-art Class-D amplifier with a 96 kHz / 24bit signal path and DSP used just right to provide outstanding performance. The aluminium voice coil and wire are low mass so its transient response is quick and accurate. To ensure the ideal mix between stiffness, weight, and dampening for unrivalled accuracy, Dynaudio mould the diaphragm and dust cap in one piece with their proprietary Magnesium Silicate Polymer.
The consistency and accuracy of the LYD-5 boils down to Dynaudio's stringent and uncompromising testing process. Each component and materials used are scrutinized at their factory for optimum sonic performance when the manufacturing process begins. Manufactured in Denmark, Dynaudio have built on the foundation of their acclaimed BM Series of speakers, creating a reference monitor ideal for musicians and producers in small studios and home studios.
