Jack Burden

PA and Hi-Tech Specialist

My role in PMT Bristol as P.A. and Hi-Tech specialist came about after I graduated from university studying sound engineering. I have worked in many live situations spec'ing, rigging and engineering for live music and theatre productions. I am also a passionate sound designer and producer playing guitar in bands and making electronic music. Though I am not the most musically talented, I have a keen ear for detail and technical knowledge that I can use to help those who are.

If you need a new P.A. system, upgrades, a new busking amp or your looking for a new toy for your studio I hope I can assist you in making the right purchase!

Ben Wootton

Electric Guitar Specialist

Hi, I'm Ben. I work in the electric guitar department here at PMT Bristol and manage the store on Sundays. I have been working at PMT now for 4 years and in the music retail industry for just under 10 years overall. Over this time, I have built up a wide range of knowledge on musical equipment in general but I mainly specialize in guitars. I have an extensive knowledge on a wide variety of guitars, amplifiers and pedal effects so any questions you have, just fire them my way! I have been playing for 15 years now and I enjoy playing all kind of music from blues, rock, pop, pretty much anything with a good beat and a catchy riff! My personal guitars of choice are Fender and Gibson. I always enjoy a good chat about music as it's one of my passions, as I'm sure it's also yours, so I am always happy to talk to you guys about what you're doing and what you're interested in. I can help you make the right decision on what to purchase and help push forward your love of playing in your music career! I look forward to seeing you in store very soon.

Hi Tech & Education Specialist

In my time working in MI Retail, I have worked in all corners of the store. I am currently a Hi-Tech specialist, but have spent many a year working with guitars and I am not afraid to cross the proverbial border - especially in to the acoustic department for a bit of peace and quiet! I am a guitarist with a fondness for Les Pauls and I have been playing for over 15 years.
