Bose F1 Loudspeakers Overview

Looking for a great PA system? The Bose F1 loudspeakers offer an innovative design and are ideal for bands, DJs or anyone else looking for a portable solution that doesn't compromise on quality.

Bose F1 overview

Finding the right Portable PA System is essential for bands, DJs and entertainers who want more flexibility and independence when performing, because it means they're able to play anywhere, and not just at venues which have PA. For instance, if you're organizing your own gig or Open Mic night, having your own PA will give you more freedom to choose a suitable place, because you won't have to worry whether they have a good PA (or a PA at all!)

Likewise, smaller venues themselves might benefit from having a small, portable PA rather than unnecessarily installing a larger and considerable more expensive PA system: the venue can save money and space by opting for a portable solution, which could also be easily stored when required.

Finally, any person or organization who often needs to rely on a PA for public speech, can also choose a portable PA as a practical solution for those occasions.

As you can imagine, all of the situations we've described are very different, and the new Bose F1 is the first portable PA system which was created to be easily adapted to the most diverse situations, thanks to its innovative FLEX array design: Bose's exclusive flexible baffle can be configured into four unique shapes, allowing you to choose the best possible coverage pattern for your desired application.

Coverage 1: Straight

If you mount your Bose F1 speakers to stands or, even better, on top of a Bose F1 Subwoofer, then they'll be facing straight to a public standing in front of it. Perfect if you're using it at live gigs, in venues without a proper stage where the speakers will be at the same floor level as the audience.

Coverage 2: Facing Down

The Bose F1 "J-position" is ideal when the speakers are located well above the audience, for instance, in circumstances when you have a high stage.

Coverage 3: Facing Up

The Facing Up, or "Reverse-J" position, is ideal in situations when the audience will be sitting above the level of the speakers, such as in conference halls or anywhere with rows of seats going up.

Coverage 4: Up & Down

Coverage 4: Up and Down Coverage 4: Up and Down

If you're placing your F1 speakers somewhere where part of the audience will be standing below the speakers, and others on levels above the speakers, then the C-position is perfect to spread the sound, offering the widest coverage pattern.

All of this is very easy to setup, as shown in this video:

But that's just part of the story, of course. The most important thing is the sound, of course! With Eight vertically mounted drivers, each mounted on a custom waveguide, and a 12-inch high-performance woofer that provides strong low-frequency output, the F1 deliver wide, consistent coverage and a clear sound. And depending on your setup, you won't even need a mixer, because the F1 has 2 inputs with independent level controls and accommodates XLR, 0.25-inch and RCA connectors.

In short - the Bose F1 is a perfect portable PA system, whatever your needs may be.

Now it's your turn to find out why the Bose F1 speakers are some of the best portable PA loudspeakers you can purchase today!

I have seen Bose in action on some of the newer Cruise ships. I am really impressed and am considering purchasing, as the systems are light and easy to transport.
