Fender Set To Release New "80 Proof" Blues Junior Amp

We all love the Fender Blues Junior. This affordable amp quickly became the world's most popular valve amp and is used by players of all levels, including rock stars such as Noel Gallagher. It's gained a few great different, limited-edition versions over the years, but nothing as stunning and unique as this "80 Proof" model!

Details about the release are still wrapped in some mystery, but some pics and info have already emerged, so we can share them with you. This Fender 80 Proof Blues Junior oozes tradition and has a real "Americana" flavour... looks like the kinda amp you'd expect to see on Seasick Steve's porch!
The amp is made from reclaimed oak from whiskey barrels, and hand-built by the Fender Custom Shop master builder.
The finish and attention to detail is simply stunning. This amp is not just great-looking - it's almost like a work of art! But with the great specs it has, make no mistake - this is an amp for the serious guitarist who want a fantastic-sounding guitar amp!
No prices have been confirmed yet, but don't expect it to come cheap - it's limited to only 100 worldwide, with 60 models going to the USA and 40 to the rest of the world. Check the other pictures:
