Jerry Donahue is in the House of Rock!

VOX’s Live Events has created this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the world-class ‘King of String Bending’ Jerry Donahue.

Jerry will be appearing at PMT Manchester and Leeds this July, presenting an exclusive opportunity for you to see him demonstrate his unique playing techniques up-close and personal.
Jerry Donahue moved from Manhattan to the UK to be part of the growing 70s folk-rock scene, to which he became immersed in and was a member of the bands Fotheringay and Fairport Convention.
After many years performing and recording with a multitude of world-class artists Jerry went on to receive widespread acclaim for his work as a member of The Hellecasters guitar trio. The band recorded several instrumental albums and frequently toured in the 90s and early 2000s. In 2012 Jerry performed as part of the Sandy Denny Homage tour where he was joined by some former Fairport Convention members. More recently, Jerry formed the band Gathering: Legends of Folk Rock with Clive Bunker, Rick Kemp, Ray Jackson, Doug Morter and daughter Kristina Donahue.
Known for his finger style and incredible command of string bending (even beyond the nut!) these two VOX Live Events are unmissable for guitar lovers. There are also special offers and goodies available on the night.
