Ryan Jenkinson V-Drums Demo Day

If you've played any Roland V-Drums, from the V-Drums Portable foldable kit to the TD15K V-Tour Series, you'll recognise the drums as being satisfying to play with a natural feel.

Roland are also known for their creative ways of getting customers involved with their tech – V-Drums Friend Jam program and app (compatible for windows, Mac OS X, iPhone and iPad) enables users to download practice songs for free online.

As well as practising, let's not forget all drummers like to show off from time-to-time! In Friend Jam users can show off the rudiments and grooves they've just learned, winning medals, sharing your achievements via Twitter and ranking worldwide!

Roland Friend Jam Features:

Metronome: Keep in time with a visual display as well as a clear click throughout your practice, or turn it off mid-performance.

Waveform Display: Visually review your performance in real-time

Ranking: Rank worldwide, by location and win medals.

Plenty of tracks to practice with: Practice with regularly updated backing tracks or specific practice tutorials at all skill levels. Keep an eye on the Roland website for updates and find all genres available from Jazz to Metal!

Change your drum sounds: The apps and software provide a clear display to get your V-Drums sounding just how you want

If you think you've got what it takes to challenge Ryan Jenkinson along with our experienced staff in PMT Birmingham's drums department, come down to PMT Birmingham this Saturday (27th July).

We'll be challenging each other on the Roland's Friend Jam app whilst taking you through the latest in V-Drum technology. However, we'd suggest to get practising  - Ryan has kept beat for bands such as thisGIRL and The New 1920 before joining Reverend and The Makers! Ryan will be giving away Roland V-Drum related goodies for those who do well in the Friend Jam challenge!

Give our Birmingham store a call on 0121 359 5056 and ask for Brian, our dedicated Roland Guru for more info!
