Fresh of their European tour Mike Spreitzer and Jeff Kendrick from influential heavy metal band DevilDriver have announced two guitar workshops at PMT Manchester and Northampton
DevilDriver formed in 2003 and their last album 'Beast' epitomises their focused work ethic and unique style of melodic death metal. The band are also renowned for their high energy live shows, DevilDriver's infamous appearance at Download Festival 2007 resulted in a Guinness world record attempt for the largest ever circle pit.
Jeff and Mike's secret weapon is the Blackstar Series One 1046L6 amplifier. The amp churns out 100 watts of metal tone with plenty of headroom, backed by four 6L6 power valves. The amp has DPR controls to reduce the amp to suitable volumes for practice with four channels including Crunch and Super Crunch settings. Equipped with Blackstar's ISF or infinate shape feature users can instantly and alter the amp's sound quality, whilst only having to control one parameter. Both Jeff and Mike will be playing tracks from DevilDriver, showcasing the latest Blackstar gear, answering questions from the audience and signing autographs at the end of the clinic.
