If you've already browsed our new at NAMM 2013 section on our website, you will have seen there are a wealth of new Ashdown products just launched. Eager to get you the latest news on new product releases at NAMM 2013, we tracked down Ashdown CEO Mark Gooday to get the low-down straight from the horses mouth.
Getting the most buzz from Ashdown this year is the CTM-15 all tube bass head. As the name suggest the head produces 15 Watts RMS of power, using a simplistic version of the CTM pre-amp. Although its caged in a seriously durable folded-steel chassis, the amp head weights just over 1kg, and packs a punch. The astounding valve sounds this amp head produces is finished with their trademarked wing logo and VU meter.
Ashdown CEO Mark Gooday also takes us through their new additions to the iconic ABM range. The new models include new ABM NEO combos which are lightweight yet still deliver the same quality. Features on the amplifiers include a sub-harmonic level control which can add a subtle low-end boost or a monsterous rumbling bass depending how you adjust the level controls.
