PMTV NAMM Report: New Orange OR100 and CS50H Amp Heads

Orange's addition to their product range at this years' NAMM is the OR100; their flagship guitar amplifier which is the first in the OR range to deliver two channels with 100 watts of power.

Taking influence from the legendary 'Pics Only' amplifier originally released in the early '70s the new OR100 oozes the same style, quality and tone whilst combining the latest valve technology to form an outstanding amplifier.

As well as twin channels the amplifier has a valve driven FX loop, EQ, foot-switchable controls, clean and dirty channels and can be scaled between 30, 50, 70 and 100 watts. The amplifier is expected to have their most desirable tone yet!

Orange's 40 years experience of creating outstanding hand-wired amplifiers is what has made them an archetypal brand in British rock guitar tone.

Also announced at NAMM, the CS50H takes influence from the Retro 50, reproducing a classic vintage sound. The custom shop amplifier is switchable between 50 watts A/B and 30 watts class A. There's also control over gain, bass, treble, HF Drive and an optional EQ lift via footswitch. We caught up with Adrian Emsley from Orange to have a chat about their latest products directly from NAMM in LA.
