We have more exciting news from Roland, set to announce a lot of new products at this years' Namm! After the success of the Roland Octacapture and Quadcapture they have built on the range delivering the Studio Capture. The audio interface has a massive 16 inputs and 10 outputs at 24-bit / 192 kHz sound quality.
Getting a high signal to noise ratio without clipping is an important technique to get the best quality recording; the Studio Capture also boasts Rolands' auto-sens feature which sets the optimum recording level after analysing your input.
Aside from the 12 VS pre-amps on the front of the unit which provide an ultra high-headroom and low-noise, the software opens up even more potential for the budding producer out there. Different mix settings via the software can be quickly edited with effects including a high-pass filter, compression and reverb returns to add to tracks whilst recording.
