The Ashdown CTM300 head is a sturdy 300w bass amp based on the classic design of many tube amplifiers however this unit is built with the modern bass player in mind.
The CTM 300 head is housed within an 18mm Marine grade birch ply cabinet that features heavy duty flip style handles and an internal fan to keep things cool, this is a tour ready amplifier that is built to last using only the finest components and will sound great night after night.
The Ashdown CTM 300 amp head is a bass tone monster that is tough, rugged and built for the demands of a touring musician.
The valves allow dual gain with the warm tube overdrive added on the input and output to give a great overall sound and great control over your overall sound. The 3 band EQ consists of Bass, Middle and Treble and can be sculpted further using the 'Deep', 'Mid Shift' and 'Bright' push buttons making it quick and easy to create your own tone. Complimenting this is a tube driven and recovered FX loop and a very tasty tube driven DI out which is transformer derived with isolated ground for the ultimate tonal integrity.
